Our Communitytitle

Nestled in an area rich in the history of California including the Pony Express and the onset of the Gold Rush, Rescue Union School District is located halfway between the San Francisco Bay Area and the scenic Lake Tahoe Basin. As a result of careful planning, wonderful views of both the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Sacramento Valley, and recreation choices at nearby Folsom Lake, our area has become one of Northern California's most prestigious residential communities.

Our People Make the Difference

Our People Make the Differencetitle

In Rescue Union School District, we believe that our people make the difference. Research shows us that the greatest impact on student learning is the relationship between a student and an educator. As a district, we focus on recruiting and hiring people who are passionate and dedicated, people whose greatest joy is seeing children succeed. Just as we do with our students, we give our educators the resources and tools they need to succeed, then we step back and watch them soar. Watch the videos below or click to meet some of the passionate and dedicated people who are making a difference in Rescue USD.
