In 2010, Rescue Union School District formed a committee to evaluate current sustainability practices and to establish the core green norms and practices that drive the district’s day-to-day operations. The committee consists of staff, students, parents, businesses, administrators, Board members and community representatives and works to share best practices relating to large and small scale sustainability focused projects as well as recognizing the green work at various district sites. The committee will communicate these efforts to all members of the district and community, increasing awareness and shaping practices that help ensure a sustainable future.
Rescue Union School District will continue to partner with families, community members, and businesses to limit the environmental impact of our activities, working towards a more sustainable future.
